The award ceremony took place as part of the “Compliance Awards” 2024, a splendid evening where winners received their awards from distinguished guests and members of the Evaluation Committee. The awards included Compliance Units (Regulatory, Anti-Money Laundering, Corporate Governance, Internal Controls/Fraud, Data Protection, Risk Compliance Management), Consulting firms, and Law firms providing Compliance services. Τhe General Secretary of the Association of Compliance Officers in Greece – ASCO Greece and member of the Evaluation Committee, Ms. Zefi Nikolaou, welcoming the event, she mentioned that all the honorees were recognized and rewarded for their excellence, innovation, and best practices in the field of regulatory compliance.
The Chair of the Awards Evaluation Committee, Ms. Sofia Kounenaki Efraimoglou, President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), emphasized the importance of Regulatory Compliance and congratulated the organizers, the awardees, and, of course, the members of the Evaluation Committee.
The Minister of National Economy and Finance, Mr. Kostis Hatzidakis, praised the initiative of the Association of Compliance Officers in Greece – ASCO Greece, and BOUSSIAS Events to co-organize the Compliance Awards and highlighted the significance of Regulatory Compliance in the business life of Greece and Europe.
